UDDEN SKULPTUR

Placed in the shallow water near the shore, The Face of the Mountain by Lars Widenfalk is carved from grey Bohus granite.

Measuring roughly 2 by 2 metres and 1.5 metres high, the sculpture depicts a human head with closed eyes — serene, as if in deep sleep.

Solid and unmoving, it rests in quiet dialogue with the shifting waves.

The sea plays gently with the stone, as if nature itself breathes around it.
