UDDEN SKULPTUR

Bølgen (The Wave) is carved from ochre-coloured marble, streaked with red lines.

While the title evokes the motion of water, the sculpture translates that movement into a system of calculated forms — the flow of a wave broken down into rhythm and structure.

The result is both dynamic and still: a wave caught in mid-motion, as if frozen in time.

The stone’s natural veining enhances this sense of motion, echoing water’s patterns in a solid, lasting material.
